A step stool to reach the sink

This weekend we went to Ikea to buy a side bench for dad-dad's office. I dislike visiting Ikea on the weekends. It is so busy. The car park is full, lots of people, some on a mission, most content to stroll slowly around the store. We went incognito, but this I mean we took the Phil and Ted pram instead of the side by side Mountain Buggy (due to a unexpected flat tire.) G, wanted to walk, so dad-dad had the pram and A, and I had G.

Our Ikea store has arrows on the floor to show you which direction to walk. These arrows are created by a light above. I've never noticed them before, but G did, and ran from one arrow to the next. At a mere 2 feet, or just over 72 centimeters it is easy to loose sight of her. She stopped running when we made it to the children's section with the slide, seats, tables and toys. I had to redirect her several times, meanwhile dad-dad and A waited patiently for us to navigate our way from one interesting item to the next.

Whilst we where at Ikea I purchased an Ikea Molger step stool (cost $39.99.) The step stool sits in our bathroom allowing A and G access to the "big sink." Since it's assembly and placement in the main bathroom, there have been squabbles and fights. I know this is a phase. The step stool is new and having independent access to the sink is just to exciting for the girls. The novelty will eventually wear off, in the meantime we persevere. This morning after another bout of squabbling in the bathroom my husband said, we really should have purchased two. That pretty much sums up living with twins.
